Who we are?
We are a family run catering and BBQ business based in Newbridge, Co Kildare . Founded by husband and wife team Flavia & Patrick Costello. Patrick originally from Tipperary has worked in the Food & Beverage Industry for over 20 years having worked as a chef for reputable establishments such as the Four Seasons Hotel, Boojum and Kerrigan’s Butchers Grill. Flavia is from Sao Paulo, Brazil and is a qualified accountant having worked for companies in Brazil such as PWC, E&Y and BTG Pactual before moving to Ireland in 2019. Inspired by Patrick’s experience of living in Monterrey, Mexico in 2009 and their travels around Flavia’s native country of Brazil and later Argentina and Chile the spark for Fuego Foods was lit. Their goal is to bring the Latin American BBQ cooking techniques, flavours and tastes that they experienced on their travels to every home, restaurant and event in Ireland. Fuego the Spanish word for fire defines exactly what the company is about, all of our menus, retail products and BBQ range are influenced by the traditional methods of cooking with fire.
